CORE IDENTIFICATION

Cores shall be identified by different colouring of PVC insulation by adopting the following scheme

1 Core	Red / Black / Yellow / Blue
2 Core	Red and Black
3 Core	Red, Yellow and Blue
3 1/2 Core	Red, Yellow, Blue, and reduced neutral core in Black
4 Core	Red, Yellow, Blue and Black
5 Core	Red, Yellow, Blue, Black and Grey

Where the number of cores exceeds 5, two adjacent cores are blue for reference and yellow for direction in each layer. The remaining cores in each layer are grey.

Note : Based Specific request we can also provide Core numbering for Control cables.

Cable Code : The following shall be used for designating the cable

• Flame Retardent (FR)/Fire retardant Low Smoke (FRLS)/Low Smoke Zero
• HR-PVC.

• With Tinned Copper Conductor.
• UV Resistant Compound.

Standard Packing length will be 100 / 250 / 500 /1000± 10 % metres in drums.
