Amit is the Founder and CEO of Zamp (www.zamp.finance) – a fintech startup, backed by Sequoia Capital. Prior to founding Zamp, Amit was Managing Director at Sequoia Capital Singapore – where he led investments in Fintech companies across India, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Before Sequoia, Amit was Head of Asia Pacific at Uber, leading one of the fastest growing regions for the company - from its very early to an exponential growth over four years. Amit has also served as President at Rent.com in Los Angeles and has worked at TPG Capital and McKinsey & Company in San Francisco. Amit has an MBA from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
Basava Prabhu S. Patil
Basava Prabhu S. Patil is a Senior Advocate practicing in the Supreme Court of India. A legal luminary with three decades of practice, he has made over 25000 appearances before various forums including High Courts, Commissions and Appellate Tribunals besides having represented his clients in domestic and international arbitrations. His field of law practice is diverse and includes constitution, criminal, electricity, anti-dumping, corporate, telecom, banking, real estate, matrimonial, IT, technology and broadcasting media and entertainment laws. He is an alumnus of University Law College, Bengaluru and was the first to graduate and enroll from its 5-year law course in 1991. He was the youngest to be designated as Senior Advocate by the Karnataka High Court in 2008. Basava Prabhu has been conferred several awards in recognition of his dedication to the practice of law. He is currently on the Supreme Court Board of Examiners for conducting the Advocate-On-Record Examination. Basava Prabhu lives in Delhi.
